I bought this skirt in several colors as I plan to wear these skirts throughout the winter. I bought a Medium (what I wear in most retailers) and found it to be a little bit on the loose side. Wearing it right out the package, it's fine, but I worry it might stretch from use and then be too big.Also, the length is not as listed, or at least, not for some of my skirts. It seems that the length ranges from about 36" to 40"; some skirts are so short I can't fold over the top without it becoming a midi skirt, and some being so long that I have to fold it over or else I will be tripping on it. I am 5'1" for reference.Other than that, the skirts are very comfortable. Not sheer at all. Tucking in shirts can be a bit of a pain because it lends to a bumpy appearance under the skirt. Despite these worries, I still like the skirt and would recommend them for shorter folk.This skirt is very soft and incredibly stretchy, almost like a jersey material. I ordered the black which to my surprise is not see-through unless it is stretched. I wore it out in the bright sunlight without any problems.Like other reviewers have mentioned, this skirt is short. I am 5'2" and ~110 lbs and I ordered the small. It is a little loose at the waist but not enough to be a problem. I wore it folded and sitting low on my hips and the bottom of the skirt brushed the tops of my feet. This is the first maxi skirt I've ever been able to wear with flats.I gave it 4 stars because the waist is a little big and would not stay put. As long as you are on the short side, or don't plan to wear this skirt folded at the waist, it is great! I am ordering more as soon as I finish with this review!I have these skirts in every color. The navy is not too dark and goes with so many different blues. Comfortable and well worth the price. It hangs well and is very flattering. Sometimes I will pull the skirt up over the girls and wear a shrug around the house or going out. If you like a snugger fit you might want to go down a size. Good for summer or winter.After reading all of the reviews to figure out if the skirt runs small or large to size, I bought a medium. I usually buy small sizes for most of my other clothing items. The medium is too large for me. I am 5'0 and wear a size 4 dress. I like that the waist band can double up to make the skirt somewhat shorter, but it doesn't stay where I put it on my waist. I didn't return it, because it is comfy to wear around the house, but it doesn't fit well enough to wear on a night out. I might still try to order another in a small to see if that works better.This skirt is a nice light soft material like other products from Popana. I'm 5'8", 195 lbs and ordered the 2X based on other reviews. However, the waist is slightly too large and I should have bought an XL which is my usual size.The skirt drapes from the waist nicely without adding bulk at the waist or hips like other styles do. The flounce at the hem gives it some movement when I walk or dance. It hits high at the ankle which is more flattering than hitting mid-shin. On someone shorter, it might be maxi. I plan to wear this all year 'round. As an added bonus, living in the U.S., I prefer buying products made in the U.S. like Popana.I can’t speak for durability because I’ve only had this a few days and only washed once before wearing but it feels like something equal or better in quality to what you would get at a big box store.I’m 5’2” and 154 at 2 months post partum and the 6/8 fit well. I did have to fold the waist band all the way in half for the length to fit me but that’s expected.My only disappointment was in the color, I ordered an olive and the color is more an evergreen but it’s such a comfortable skirt that I decided to keep it. I already had he black and wanted to order more colors but now am hesitant because Of my experience with the “olive” color. I’ll maybe try one more!I'm 5'0" and was hesitate about this skirt because I thought that it might be too long even with the fold-down waist, but I'm writing to tell you that is not the case! This skirt is my new favorite and most comfortable article of clothing...in fact, I even bought 3 of them!I did notice that with the light blue color I don't need to fold down the waist at all but with the charcoal grey and olive green skirts I do need to foldover the waist just a little bit to make it the perfect length. This does not look bulky or anything and I don't find the amount of material to be overwhelming for my frame.For reference, I usually wear a size 18P in pants and I got this skirt in an XL and it fits perfectly.If you are short but want to wear a maxi skirt then try this one out!I cannot rate the durability as I have not had the skirt for very long. However, it is by far the most comfortable skirt I've ever worn. Perfect fit, perfect length, and thick enough to never worry about being see through. It is very flattering-- even on my "feeling heavy" days. :) I am ordering this in several other colors as I'm certain it will be the only skirt I bother to wear. (I wear scrubs everyday to work, so I only need a skirt once or twice a week.) At 5'3", I typically have trouble with skirts and pants being way too long, but this falls to my ankles without touching the ground and with the waist band around my hips. I don't like clothing to fit snug around the waist, but this waist band is so incredibly soft and comfortable. I am typically an 8 in jeans-- the medium fits perfectly to slightly roomier than expected.I bought this for my mother she usually wears 4x but I bought 3x hoping it would fit she told she fits it and she is a larger woman. Who wears American 4x or 24 it's nice and very long has stretch not too thin or see through.This is a fabulous skirt: great quality, great fit, great price point. The length was as stated in the description, the skirt is as pictured.It is made in the USA, which is great. It took some time to arrive, but it was worth the wait.The skirt looks great on as well.
